森林更新
天然林或人工林经过采伐、火烧或因其他自然灾害等原因，导致整个林分消失或部分林木消失后形成采伐、火烧或其他迹地，在这些迹地上通过人力或自然力作用恢复森林或更替部分林木形成新一代森林的过程。及时进行森林更新，是维持和扩大森林资源，保护森林生态环境的主要途径，也是调整现有森林、实现森林可持续经营的基础。
