非洲东北部游牧民族阿尔法人使用的语言。属阿非罗-亚细亚语系库施特语族东支。主要分布于埃塞俄比亚东北部，厄立特里亚东南部和吉布提等地区。是埃塞俄比亚阿法尔地区的官方工作语言之一，厄立特里亚的9种国家通用语言之一，在吉布提作为全国通用语言在公共广播和电视中使用。根据2018年的统计数据，使用人口共计约249万人，埃塞俄比亚境内的使用者占大多数，共有186万人。又称卡法尔语（Qafar）。
