芯片组
一系列相互关联的芯片组合。它们相互依赖、组合在一起能发挥更大的作用，比如计算机里面的处理器和南北桥芯片组，手机里面的射频、基带和电源管理芯片组。在计算机中，芯片组是构成主板电路的核心。从一定意义上讲，它决定了主板的级别和档次，是"南桥"和"北桥"的统称，就是把以前复杂的电路和元件最大限度地集成在几颗芯片内的芯片组，它几乎决定了这块主板的功能，进而影响到整个电脑系统性能的发挥，芯片组是主板的灵魂。
