干旱与半干旱地区长期受灌溉水夹带的泥砂等悬移物淤积并经耕种、扰动、培肥而形成的人为土壤。1978年在南京召开的中国土壤学会土壤分类会议正式定名。1984年第2次土壤普查定为人为土纲灌淤土土类。在中国土壤系统分类（修订方案，1995）中，列为人为土纲旱耕人为土亚纲灌淤旱耕人为土土类；在中国土壤系统分类（2001）中，相当于灌淤旱耕人为土[注]或灌淤干润雏形土[注]；在美国土壤系统分类（1999）中，部分相当于堆垫人为始成土[注]；在联合国世界土壤资源参比基础（WRB，2014）中，相当于人为土土类灌淤人为土单元[注]。
