一般含有可挥发性溶剂和矿物油，在被印刷至承印材料表面后，油墨中的可挥发性溶剂脱离树脂的束缚游离出来，依靠其自身的挥发能力脱离油墨进入空气中；而油墨中的可挥发性矿物油在与承印材料的多孔表面接触时，一部分会进入表面结构的缝隙部位，进而渗入到纸张内部，一部分和颜料等油墨其他成分一起固着在纸张表面。
