凝聚态物质与气体结合生成气态化合物，迁移到另一温度与压力的环境，又自行分解，达到物质的提纯或改变物理状态（或二者兼有）的反应。如凝聚相物质M（单质或化合物）与气体A（单质或化合物）在一定温度t1及压力p1下结合生成气态化合物MxAy：此气态中间产物MxAy迁移到另一温度为t2、压力为p2的环境，由于物理条件的变化又行分解为M及气体A。
