古代印度曾流行的一套字母。约公元前4世纪由波斯传入，公元前3世纪开始应用于孔雀王朝（公元前324～公元前185）和贵霜王朝（55～425）。主要分布区域相当于今天的印度西北部、巴基斯坦、阿富汗以及中亚两河流域。“佉卢”一词来自古印度语的Kharoṣṭhī，也译作“佉卢虱吒”或“佉楼”。因其意为“驴唇”，又称驴唇文。
