表面活性剂开始大量形成胶束的最小浓度或一窄小的浓度范围。表面活性剂溶于水中，在空气与水的界面（溶液表面）发生吸附，亲水头基留在水中，亲油基团伸向空气，造成溶液表面张力降低。
