2007年起，中国根据国民经济和社会发展需要，对全国城乡各类土地进行的第二次全面调查。由国务院全国土地调查领导小组统一组织，县级以上人民政府土地调查小组遵照要求实施，国家根据国民经济和社会发展需要，以及《土地调查条例》规定，每10年进行一次全国土地调查。简称“二调”。
