适于在酸性土壤（土壤pH在6.5以下）如泥炭土等含有游离腐殖酸的地方生长的植物。又称酸性植物、酸土植物、喜酸植物、适酸性植物。如马尾松、五针松、杜鹃、山茶、油茶、栀子花、石松、芒萁、铁芒萁、碱蓬、骆驼刺、地菍等。与之相对应的是碱性土植物和中性土植物。酸性土植物中有一些种类在碱性或钙质土壤上不能生长或生长不良。酸性土植物灰分中含钙极少，而含铁、铝较多。
