释义	MOC Encyclopedia 理学第四纪大洋环流释 meridional overturning circulation; MOC经向翻转流由于南大洋和北大西洋表层海水在海面风力的驱动以及结冰、融冰、降水和蒸发等热盐效应作用下，造成大范围的海水密度分布不均匀，使南大洋形成的深层水向北流动，在北半球海洋深部上翻并向南流动；在北大西洋形成的深层水也一并向南流动，这些南向的洋流在南大洋西风驱动的上升流作用下最终回到南大洋，进而形成的洋流。
