(Ki-)Swahili斯瓦希里语
坦桑尼亚、肯尼亚和乌干达的官方语言之一。非洲东部和中部的通用语言，也是非洲地区使用最广泛的本土语言。属尼日尔-科尔多凡语系尼日尔-刚果语族贝努埃-刚果语支，是这个语系中使用人口最多的语言。除以上三国外，还分布于赞比亚、刚果（金）、卢旺达、布隆迪、马拉维、莫桑比克、索马里等国和东非沿海一些岛屿。关于该语言的使用人数，不同来源的统计差别很大，从近80万到上亿不等。作为母语使用的人口实际只有70多万，但更多的使用者把它用作不同民族间的交际媒介语。又称基-斯瓦希里语。
