螺旋聚合物
左手螺旋与右手螺旋互为镜像但不能重叠的聚合物。因此具有螺旋构象的聚合物为手性聚合物。具有单一旋向或某一旋向占优的螺旋聚合物具有光学活性；如果螺旋聚合物中半数分子左旋半数分子右旋，或分子中半数链段左旋半数链段右旋，则不具光学活性。
