将橡胶与不能硫化的热塑性聚合物（如PP、PVC、PA等树脂）在高温、高剪切的混合器中熔融共混，在交联剂的作用下将橡胶硫化，得到大约尺寸在微米级别的微粒硫化橡胶相，并均匀分散于树脂中的过程。该过程非常稳定，在加工过程中不会发生物性变化。如EPDM/PP、NBR/HPVC、BIIR/PA等等。
